The record will show we’ve got chronic atheist from devoted religionist, why? I try to figure it out, why on Earth will a tree not give birth to its own kind. I know I am not the only person that has reflected on this so, I decided to share one of my answers. Which is the reality that some persons have failed to place the stones? Instead, we have decided to leave the land unoccupied therefore vulnerable to anything at all.
I should break this down clearly for you.
What do I mean by placing the stones? The word stone here means something concrete and lasting. A trip back to the days of Israelites when they were led by Joshua precisely. The children of Israel in those days were graced to overcome certain hurdles. It was on one of those occasions that the Lord specifically told Joshua to select 12 men to place the stones. Biblically, stone placing means setting up a structure, symbol, or just anything that will serve as a reminder. A reminder of the Lord’s love and faithfulness over the years.
Just in case you’re wondering how to place the stones when you survived an accident or got delivered from a terminal disease. This is how;
• Write it down: This is one special thing I appreciate my dad for. He is a writer by default. I think every parent should develop that attitude as well. It may not be in many words but pen it down! Whether alive or dead, children should be able to read from their parent. Irrespective of your age, you can begin to place the stones.
• Say it often and early: it’s amazing how parents can talk about their likes and dislikes enthusiastically nonstop yet forget to feed their wards with stories of what the Lord has done. It’s okay to begin to tell them early and often, it’s a mindset you’re installing in them. And never will it be easy for them to forget even if they travel to the farthest place in the world.
• Take and keep pictures: the world is getting better by the day. Virtually everyone has access to camera-equipped phones. Parent and leaders of tomorrow should cultivate the attitude of taking and keeping pictures where and when necessary. This is lifetime memories and should be kept Intentionally. Capture moments in the picture and decide not to delete them even if they look “ugly”.
These are just a few mediums of placing the stones. I feel there are more but these ones are easily attainable. Now, this does not only serve as a reference for testimony but as well a yardstick to trust God the more.
Bringing this down to my first question, some parent has failed to do this. Literally, if one search through their lives and all. Nothing is found as concrete evidence of the Lord’s doing. No dairy whatsoever, even church testimony is only on new year celebration day. As normal this may sound, it is bad for future generations. This may not be fun due to time schedule but it will improve their trust in God and love for him. Feel free to drop your opinion in the comment section.
