Often times, we believers question God on why we have to painfully go through certain trials, difficulties and hurdles in life knowing fully well that God is the Omnipotent (all-powerful) and can speed up the process.
This is how it happens. You painfully go through the process, He gives you the inner strength, capacity and resources needed to scale through. You’d then find out that the process and all that happened was never meant for you alone. Let’s just say they emerged to give you a practical solution to another person’s problem.
To further simplify this, have you ever been in a situation where someone tells you: God directed me to you because you have the solution to my problem or better still you recently just stepped out of a situation and then you meet someone in that same situation without a clue on how to scale through?
Let me give a personal example:
A few years back, the Holy Spirit took me through a very painful process. As I was getting back on my feet, I got a message that I had been invited to minister somewhere. I asked for the topic and I was astonished when it dropped. All I could say was: God, I am just recovering. The topic depicted the exact thing I had been struggling with.
See, the process was never for you alone! If the work of redemption Jesus came to do on earth was just for him, he wouldn’t have come. All that He experienced was meant for you and me.
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him – 2 Corinthians 5:21
Your testimony is a life-giving spirit to others don’t deprive them of hearing, don’t deny people the opportunity of getting solutions. You shouldn’t cut corners, they must go through the process and they can only learn this through your story. If Jesus had cut corners, we wouldn’t be reconciled with the Father today.
And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will but as thou wilt – Matthew 26:39
During the painful process, we also can say: nevertheless not as I will but as thou wilt. Without a Story, there can never be a Glory! You should always pray for the strength to scale through the process. Joseph had to go to jail, not for himself, but for his Father and Brothers. What would have happened if Joseph was not sold? Let’s imagine what would have happened if Joseph was not put in prison? What would have happened to his household during the famine?
Have you thought of what will happen to the souls out there if you fail to follow the process? Henceforth, take every dealings of the Holy Spirit seriously, the more you do, the more you save lives.
