January was tough for me, the last week especially was a period I never want to experience again. I lost someone close to me, I had issues I knew nothing about at work and one of my relatives wasn’t answering the phone. I was so worried, I had never felt so weak and helpless. For a moment, I thought God was not on my side at all. He suddenly became so quiet… After a lot of altercations, I still found myself standing. Although I am learning to hold on, I won’t give up.
Walking through storms with strength is personal to me, I perceive the theme whispering: this is you! Strolling through surges with courage does not mean that the barrages will lessen, it doesn’t mean they will just go away, it implies that you keep moving no matter what. It indicates you’ve decided that there’s no going back. It signifies whether life shakes and demands a lot from you, you’d still raise your head high and affirm you’re coming out victorious.
One thing I discovered is occasionally, our strength will fail us, we’d feel so weak and tormented to give up the fight. In times like this, I have come to realize God wraps us in His strength and keeps us going. You know that point where every part of you practically screams “you are tired“, I’d like you to know I’ve been there. God came through for me, He’d do the same for you.
Dear reader, if you feel so tired and discouraged, understand it’s not a sin, we are humans! Ask God for strength. Remember, God has named us overcomers, we are more than conquerors. No matter what angle life comes at us, we won’t give up. We’d keep moving because we’ve fixed our gaze on something and we’d stop at nothing until we achieve that purpose and vision. We are walking through storms with strength and nothing will stop us.
