Ever wondered how ideas drop in your mind? Ever imagined how thoughts are conceived? Let’s just say they surface as a result of experiences and occurrences we have accumulated over time. We are involved in diverse dramatic situations that reflect in our thoughts and I am sure you will all agree that they come back to mind sooner or later. A lot of us find it difficult to believe that our thoughts are really powerful; you think of something and somehow, some forces make it happen and you begin to wonder how. The biggest factor for anyone to understand when it comes to subconscious programming is the realization that thoughts are powerful.
Take it or leave it! As a man thinks in his heart, so he is, it’s written in the Bible. Whatever it is you conceive on the inside surely has a way of manifesting on the outside, so, watch it! The heart of a man is a fertile ground that promotes the growth of whatever is planted on it, be careful of things you see, hear and perceive. The great inventors we have today once thought of those lovely ideas and today, they have impacted their world. Imagine how much good you would do if your thoughts are positive. If you examine people around you and take a good look at the way they appear and what they do, you will more or less get an idea as to what they thought about.
Dreams can be split into diverse parts but I will dwell on goals, visions, and plans. Individually, each of us has goals we hope to achieve someday. How deliberate are you about achieving your set goals? It’s easy to admire, think and dream of good things, what’s not easy is the process involved in actualizing them. Dreams are valuable commodities, they propel us forward, they give us energy and they make us enthusiastic. Everyone ought to have a dream, what’s your dream? Your dreams are as important as life itself. Another question for you: how big is your dream? Hey! Take responsibility for your life and begin to make unusual sacrifices.
Hmmm, reality! There are many ways by which we could live in fantasies and illusions that will set us up for certain disappointments and maybe worse. The fantasy that we are able to have or control whatever we wish is one. The illusion that we are entirely helpless is another. I used to hear people say reality dawned on them when I was much younger and I wondered what the phrase meant. As I developed mentally, I realized its usually uttered when people come to the knowledge that the fact they once took for granted is so real. We all have different views and frames of reference on life and until we are punched, we don’t learn important lessons. Life is real and all that you see and experience are real. If you are still toying with your life, its time to wake up. You won’t be young forever, someday, you’d give a report on how you spent your days… Someday, your generations yet unborn will either thank God they belong to your lineage or wish they never had anything to do with you. What report are you writing for yourself now? Stop fantasizing, start practicing!
What relationship do these three have? For me, I believe thoughts make a man. What you process on the inside or what you perceive of yourself on the inside helps you lay down goals that will guide your everyday activities. Understanding reality helps you ensure your goals are realistic and can be achievable.
What do you think of? How big are your dreams? How realistic are your plans?
